Got a 2027 wedding or trip in the diary? So does your pet sitter.

Venues get booked two years out. Photographers too. The person who'll keep your dog calm while you walk down the aisle deserves the same head start.

There's a moment in every big plan, a wedding, a honeymoon, a long-postponed trip, when you look at the spreadsheet and realise your pet isn't in it.

It happens more often than you'd think. The venue's booked, the flights are held, and then someone says: wait. Who's having the dog?

If that's you for 2027, the good news is you're early. And early, in pet care, is exactly where you want to be.

Why early birds get the calmest sits

Wedding season and school holidays are the busiest times of the year for in-home sitting. The weeks between May and September fill first, and the Christmas and New Year period isn't far behind.

Booking ahead isn't just about securing dates. It means time for a proper meet & greet, a trial overnight if your pet would benefit from one, and a care pack written when nobody's rushing. Your pet gets to know their sitter as a friend, not a stranger who arrived the day you left.

Weddings are a full day, for pets too

A wedding isn't a normal evening out. It's an early start, a late finish, and a house full of unfamiliar people in between. Some couples want their dog there for the photos; others want them happily asleep at home, supervised by someone they trust.

Either way, an in-home sitter keeps the routine intact: the usual walk, the usual dinner, the usual spot on the sofa. You get to be fully present on the day, knowing your tiny, unimpressed manager is in good hands.

How far ahead should you book?

  • Weddings and honeymoons: 6–12 months ahead is ideal, especially for May–September dates
  • Christmas, New Year and school holidays: as soon as your own dates are confirmed
  • Longer trips of a week or more: the earlier the better, so the same sitter can cover the whole stay
  • Anything else: even a few weeks' notice makes a real difference to who and what's available

We take a limited number of bookings at a time so every pet gets proper attention, which means dates do fill. We're now welcoming enquiries for 2027.

How it works

Start with an enquiry, tell us your dates, your pet and what you have in mind. We'll arrange a free meet & greet in your home, learn your pet's routine in detail, and match you with a vetted, reference-checked sitter who suits them.

Your pet stays at home. Their routine holds. You get updates while you're away, and you come back to a house that's been looked after as carefully as the animal in it.

Planning something for 2027?

Tell us the dates as soon as you have them. There's no obligation, but there's real peace of mind in knowing the pet care is sorted before the invitations go out.
